Helm, fire control, sonar with broadband, narrowband and TMA tabs, ESM, and a periscope that shows real silhouettes. Sonar, fire control, the XO and radio each have a voice and call the fight as it develops. Wire-guided torpedoes ping faster as they close.

Nothing is handed to you. Contacts arrive as traces on a broadband waterfall. You assign trackers, work a bearing-only solution with your own manoeuvres, identify the class from its narrowband lines, and fire when the numbers say so. Modern threats: Type 055 destroyers, Yasen-M boats, dipping helicopters, patrol aircraft laying sonobuoy fields, explosive drone boats.

A 3D tactical volume draws what the ocean hides: the seafloor, the thermocline, the convergence zone, the range at which a quiet boat could hear you, and every bearing fan and seeker cone. Distance and depth are compressed so forty miles and four hundred metres fit in one bubble while the near fight stays true to scale.
